It’s official – living amongst nature is better for your mental health. A study out of Washington State University found that older adults in cities are at lower risk of serious psychological distress – and potentially of later cognitive decline and dementia – when they live close to so-called green and blue spaces, including parks, gardens, and bodies of water.
