Structures throughout the country will glow teal this International OCD Awareness Week! Monuments from the Corn Palace of South Dakota to the Mid-Hudson Bridge of New York will all be lit up the color teal to help raise awareness for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders and their impact on everyone affected.

This year’s International OCD Awareness Week theme is OCD Truths and focuses on casting light upon the unfiltered realities of living with OCD and related disorders and finding hope through our shared truths.

With the lighting of these structures throughout the country the IOCDF looks forward to literally shining a light on what it really means to live with OCD and related disorders at the kickoff of this special awareness week.

International OCD Awareness Week takes place the second full week in October each year (October 8–14, 2023) and is designed to share knowledge and reduce stigma around OCD and related disorders. This global event will feature diverse programming from around the world, as the IOCDF partners with organizations at home and abroad to bring wide-ranging activities spanning a variety of topics.
